Every Bride and Groom always want the perfect wedding that goes off without a hitch. I’ve been doing wedding for many years now and often the “oops” moments are the best ones.
So I say “don’t stress over perfection, keep it casual and fun!”
Here are a collection of “oops” from the ceremonies I’ve done...
- Bride signs her husband’s first name instead of last name on the Marriage Licence.
- The best man signs the groom’s spot.
- The groom takes his ring to put on his bride’s finger.
- The sister of the bride decorates in great detail even down to doing the unity sand to perfection....making our ceremony a little shorter.
- The bride puts the ring on the grooms wrong hand.
- The groom drops the bride’s ring.
- The bride and groom leave the Marriage Licence at home.
- The groom falls coming to the platform.
- The Minister (yeah that’s me) introduces the bride and groom for the first time as Mr and Mr.
If I thought about it there is probably more....but this is just a few to let you know it happens your guests laugh, you laugh and it becomes a special moment in your special day. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Enjoy your day bloopers and all!
